The Audi twin piston calipers will take
care of the braking for the front of our corrado. The MKIV
aluminum calipers will take care of the rear.
Many enthusiasts
shy away from this brake upgrade because of the little extra weight the twin piston calipers have. The gain in weight here
is important to watch but the braking power will offset that and some. Just so we all know exactly what the weight difference
is we will be doing a side by side weighing of both calipers.
We will have a total of 6 caliper
pistons doing all of the braking for our G60. In the front we will be gaining about 30mm's of piston braking power per side.
Also
we will have the ECStuning SS brake lines.
Mintex
red box pads all around.
High performance racing Motul
brake fluid.
Cross drilled and slotted rotors
all around
ATE aluminum rear distribution block
our was leaking a little and the factory one is iron.
This
should make a nice OEM brake upgrade.
Stay tuned.
