92 16V GTI Brake upgrade

This is a complete brake overhaul. We are replacing all of the braking components on this vehicle from the master cylinder to the rear rubber bleeder cap including the hydraulic distribution block on the rear axel. Using Motul brake fluid and Mintex high performance brake pads, braided stainless teflon dot approved lines on Eurospec cross drilled and slotted rotors.
The highlight of this system is the front G60 spec calipers and rotors taking rotor diameter up to 11.0" from the 10.1"stock diameter. At the rear the MKIV aluminum rear calipers will replace the rust prone factory iron calipers that came on all MKII's. What an awesome brake system this will end up being.

We also used red caliper paint for all 4 calipers, carriers and hardware. We disassembled all of the caliper components and blasted the metal before painting for a professionally applied paint job using caliper paint. The result, simply beutiful the pics only show so much. Take a look.

Test drive write up when done.
